EDUPLEX

EDUPLEX is a model for inclusive education, internationally.

EDUPLEX is a private, Christian, parallel-medium school (separate English and Afrikaans classes) with a healthy, safe and cellphone-free environment offering a balanced approach between academics, culture and sport. Many of our students compete on provincial, national and international levels in a number of disciplines.

We offer an IEB Matric which allows our students to develop additional problem-solving skills, opening doors to 480 universities world-wide.

EDUPLEX is a private pre-, primary and high school where the high academic standards match the world-class facilities, where 2-3 deaf children are included in each class and where they learn alongside their normally hearing friends, without sign-language.

Pre School

Ages 3-6

Learning through play and discovery in a multi-sensory environment. Outstanding educational programme and award-winning interactive gardens as an extension of the classroom.

Primary School

Grades 1-7

Registered IEB Primary School, with multi-level teaching focusing on problem-solving, critical thinking and creativity. Annual IEB international benchmark tests (IBT’s) for grade 3 and grade 6.

High School

Grades 8-12

Internationally accredited IEB Senior Certificate (Gr12). Advanced programmes are offered for mathematics and physics (Gr10-12). Additional academic support in all subjects.

Important Timeline

•2002 - The EDUPLEX Pre-school opening was officiated by Mr Nelson Mandela.
•2003 - The EDUPLEX Primary School opened.
•2011 - The EDUPLEX High School opened its doors.
•2014 - The EDUPLEX Training Institute (ETI) was established.
•2017 - The new Audiology facilities opened. EDUPLEX Sport facilities opened.
•2025 - Construction of 8 additional high school classrooms.
